New Features for Alarm.com Users

We have GREAT news for those of you using Alarm.com equipment as part of your security system. Alarm.com recently announced some great  new features to cut down on false alarms and enable clients to reach emergency services more quickly.

From the Alarm.com app, you can now cancel or verify an alarm when it is triggered. To respond to an alarm, simply hold down either the “cancel” or “verify” button in the app. It’s that easy!

In addition, should an emergency arise, there is also a panic button right there in the app. Again, simply hold down the panic button to alert the monitoring station that you need assistance immediately.

We’ve already enabled these new features for all our Alarm.com security clients. The next time you open your app, you should see the panic button at the bottom of your “Security System” icon. If not, you may need to close and reopen the app to force it to refresh.
